Stanford and Park go to playoff after finishing tied at 26 under overall

WATERLOO, Ont. – American Angela Stanford and South Korea’s Hee Young Park are going to a playoff at the Manulife Financial LPGA Classic.

Both players birdied the final hole to sit tied at 26-under-par 258 after 72 holes of play.

They will play the 18th hole at Grey Silo Golf Course again to determine the winner.

Stanford closed with a 7-under 64 while Park, who led after the third round, had a 65.

If they remain tied, they will return to the 18th tee and keep playing the final hole until the tie is broken.

Catriona Matthew of Scotland closed with a 66 to finish at 23 under.

Hamilton’s Alena Sharp was the top Canadian at 11 under.
