Sport fields now open

As warm weather approaches, many residents and sports leagues will use one of the 30 City sports fields to enjoy activities ranging from Frisbee to baseball. Yesterday marked the official opening of all City sports fields, including public washrooms which are now open until 8 p.m.

Throughout the season, City staff perform routine maintenance that require field closures. Users are encouraged to go online to view the 2013 Sport Field Maintenance Schedule. Here, you will find the list of closures throughout the spring and summer months. Staying off fields during the closure means we can get back on them faster and have a better field to play on.
