KAMLOOPS – The Kamloops Blazers have acquired 19-year-old goaltender Bolton Pouliot from the Red Deer Rebels in exchange for a 6th round WHL Bantam Draft pick in 2016.
Pouliot has 40 games of WHL experience as a goaltender with the Red Deer Rebels over the past two seasons. In 20 appearances last season, the Calgary native had a 3.60 goals against average and a .902 save percentage.
“We felt it was important to create some competition amongst our goaltenders,” commented General Manager Craig Bonner. “Bolton has spent the last two years in the WHL and we expect him to push for playing time.”
