More parks reopening in West Kelowna

The City of West Kelowna is pleased to announce that sandbags have been removed from the following waterfront parks and they will reopen on Saturday, July 29:

  • Hitchner Park (Beach Access) – Jennens Road
  • Osprey Park – Green Bay Road
  • Hazelnut Park (Beach Access) – Whitworth Road
  • Casa Loma Beach Park – Casa Loma Road (north)
  • Beechnut Park (Beach Access) – George Court

Flood recovery continues at the following parks which will remain closed until further notice:

  • Gellatly Walkway – Gellatly Road
  • Heartnut Park – Whitworth Road
  • Jennens Park – Jennens Road

Before university, Taylor spent a year abroad living in Thailand which encouraged her to finish her degree studying in Turkey, both experiences have made her an avid traveller. Taylor graduated from Thompson Rivers University with a degree in Communications and Public Relations. Although born on the coast, Taylor has lived the majority of her life in Kamloops and enjoys what the region has to offer. In her spare time, you can find Taylor volunteering in the community or out on an adventure with her friends and her dogs.
