Young Stars Classic single ticket sales announced

PENTICTON – Single game and double header tickets for this year’s 2017 Young Stars Classic in Penticton go on sale next week.

Ticket sales start Thursday, Aug.3 at 10 a.m., with the Young Stars tournament taking place Friday, Sept. 8 through Monday, Sept. 11, at the South Okanagan Events Centre, according to a media release.

The four-team tournament pits NHL prospects from the Vancouver Canucks, Edmonton Oilers, Calgary Flames and Winnipeg Jets in a round robin tournament.

Expect to see Vancouver prospects Jonathan Dahlen, Olli Juolevi and Thather Demko, Logan Stanley of the Winnipeg Jets, Dillon Dube of the Calgary Flames and Caleb Jones of the Edmonton Oilers, the release states.

Single game tickets are $15, double header tickets are $25, and are available online at ValleyFirstTix,com, by phone at 1-877-763-2849, or in person at the Events Centre.
