One more week for Kelowna’s fireworks show

Festivals Kelowna, which produces a number of free outdoor programs and events, is presenting something special next month.

According to the Festivals Kelowna website, on Saturday, August 5, at 9:30 p.m. the Coast Capital Savings Canada 150 Fireworks will be presented by City of Kelowna and TOLKO. There will be a variety of activities which include live entertainment, games, and more. The event will be held at Jim Stuart Park from 6:00 – 9:30 p.m.

The Festivals Kelowna is a non-profit society that works with the City of Kelowna, which is their major funder and a key supporter of community-focused, accessible, cultural festivals and events to animate our parks and public spaces.

They provide the community with a variety of entertainment which includes Parks Alive!, Arts on the Avenue, Pianos in Parks and New York New Years.
