Looking for a forever home; Vernon SPCA pet of the week

VERNON – This week the B.C. SPCA Vernon & District Branch would like to feature Skeeter.

Skeeter is an affectionate and laid back cat, on a much-needed diet, according to the B.C. SPCA's pet profile.

After a proper introduction, he does enjoys the company of other cats and they have been helping him lose some of his excess weight.

Sitting on your lap or sofa while being brushed is one of his favourite things.

Skeeter is fairly independent and doesn't need a lot of attention but quickly accepts an invitation for snuggles.

Skeeter has a calm nature and he is a good conversationalist.

He has some diet restrictions due to a chronic urinary condition. He must be fed Hill's CD urinary diet. If not fed the proper food his life is at risk because he builds an infection and quickly becomes blocked.

If you think you'd like to add this wonderful feline to your home, please contact our branch or come to the shelter to meet him.
