Skimpy swimsuit wardrobe surprises Jerry O’Connell on new CBS comedy ‘We Are Men’
BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. – Jerry O’Connell got a surprise with his character’s wardrobe in the new CBS comedy “We Are Men.”
He found out he would be wearing a skimpy swimsuit in several scenes when he saw it hanging in his dressing room.
The suit wasn’t in the original script. As a result, O’Connell told the Television Critics Association on Monday that it’s probably his “most nerve-racking job.”
O’Connell joked that he’s joined a gym and is drinking light beer to make sure he looks better in the suit.
O’Connell’s wife, Rebecca Romijn (roh-MAYN’), could give him some advice. She’s a former Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover model who now stars on the TNT show “King & Maxwell.”
Tony Shalhoub and Kal Penn co-star with O’Connell in “We Are Men” as newly single men sharing temporary digs.
The show debuts Sept. 30.
