CFL fines Montreal receiver London, Riders defensive lineman Steinhauer

TORONTO – The CFL issued two fines Wednesday.

The league fined Montreal receiver Brandon London for publicly criticizing CFL game officials following the Alouettes’ 32-27 win over the Edmonton Eskimos.

Saskatchewan defensive lineman Levi Steinhauer was also slapped with a financial penalty for a helmet-to-helmet hit on Hamilton’s Lindsey Lamar on a kickoff return during the Roughriders’ 32-20 road win Saturday night.

As per league policy, the amounts of the fines weren’t disclosed.
