It’s time to let go of the embarrassment associated with urinary (bladder) incontinence and get talking. Hosted by the Gerontology Centre, presenter Sheila Pither of COSCO Seniors’ Health and Wellness Institute will help people to get to know their bladders. Sheila Pither is a trained volunteer facilitator who presents practical and useable information free of technical jargon.
Workshop participants will learn how their bladders function and the causes of bladder incontinence. Also included is a discussion on possible remedies and lifestyle change that can help to reduce or eliminate incontinence.
