MONTREAL – Philippe Gagnon is back with the Montreal Alouettes.
The six-foot-four, 311-pound offensive lineman from L’Ancienne-Lorette, Que., signed a one-year deal Thursday with the Alouettes, who drafted Gagnon out of Laval in 2016.
Gagnon appeared in nine games, eight as a starter, last season with the Ottawa Redblacks. Gagnon spent his first three CFL seasons with Montreal after being selected in the first round, second overall, in the ’16 Canadian draft.
Gagnon, 27, has appeared in 45 career regular-season games, starting 36. The Alouettes have also added American defensive back Darius West to their roster.
