InfoTel winner lucky, grandkid even luckier
VERNON – InfoTel's got your number, but Keiran Wells apparently has ours.
Wells just won InfoTel's back to school cash contest of $500 and tells us it's actually his third time winning one of our contests. A couple years ago he won an iPad, and a year after that a trip to Las Vegas.
His strategy? Enter every single day.
"Just keep plugging away," Wells says.
How long the lucky streak will go on, Wells isn't sure. But he plans to keep entering. He's using the $500 to get his grandson Jack MacDonald, 7, all set for the school year.
MacDonald, who goes to Ellison Elementary School, thinks it's great to be getting some new school clothes, but he's most excited about completing his collection of Skylanders video game characters. There are some 70 figurines, of which he currently has 20.
"Oh he's excited about that," Wells says.
