UPDATE: Highway 1 east of Chase open to single lane, alternating traffic

CHASE – Highway 1 near Chase is now open to single-lane alternating traffic after a crash shut the highway down earlier.

According to Drive B.C., the incident is approximately 10 kilometres east of Chase.

At this point, there's no estimated time of the higway fully reopening.

Drive B.C. is expected to give more updates on the incident throughout the afternoon and evening.
