PENTICTON – Motorists using Green Mountain Road on Thursday are being advised of a temporary closure on the route.
HRC Construction will be placing a temporary detour bridge across Shingle Creek on Thursday, Aug. 31, resulting in the need to close the road between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m.
The bridge is located approximately nine kilometres west of the intersection of Green Mountain Road and the Channel Parkway.
Both lanes of traffic will be affected by the closure.
Possible detours include Marron Valley Road off Highway 3A, or access by the west entrance to Green Mountain Road, also via Highway 3A.
Anyone with questions is asked to contact Mark Reid of HRC Construction at 1-604-835-0403.
