The UFC is returning to Toronto.
The mixed-martial arts company announced on Twitter that UFC 231 will be held at Scotiabank Arena, previously known as Air Canada Centre, on Dec. 8.
No details about the fight card have been released.
The UFC is holding two other events in Canada this year: UFC on Fox, headlined by a lightweight rematch between Eddie Alvarez and Dustin Poirier, at the Scotiabank Saddledome on July 28 in Calgary and UFC Fight Night at the Moncton Event Centre in Moncton, N.B., on Oct. 27.
This will be the sixth UFC event held in Toronto, with the previous being UFC 206 in December 2016, featuring a main featherweight bout between Max Holloway and former lightweight champion Anthony Pettis.
UFC 129, which saw Montreal’s Georges St-Pierre fight Jake Shields at the Rogers Centre in 2011, holds the record UFC for attendance on North American on soil.
