Float playing with six people missing presumed crashed in B.C.; search underway
TOFINO, B.C. – A float plane carrying six people is missing and believed to have crashed near Tofino, B.C.
Bill Yearwood of the Transportation Safety Board confirms the float plane is missing and presumed crashed, but few other details are available.
Yearwood says search-and-rescue crews are attempting to find the wreckage and any survivors, but he says poor weather is hampering the search.
