Blue Jays slugger Jose Bautista leaves game against Yankees with sore left hip

NEW YORK, N.Y. – Toronto Blue Jays slugger Jose Bautista has left the first game of a doubleheader against the New York Yankees because of soreness in his left hip.

Bautista was replaced in right field to start the bottom of the fourth inning Tuesday. He grounded out in the first and walked in the Blue Jays’ four-run second inning.

Rajai Davis moved from centre field to right to start the fourth. Anthony Gose entered in centre field.
