Bill Glasson fires course-record 62 at Champions Tour’s Shaw Charity Classic
CALGARY – Bill Glasson shot a course record 9-under-par 62 Sunday to move up the leaderboard at the Shaw Charity Classic.
Glasson, who was 3 under through the first two rounds of the inaugural Champions Tour event, had nine birdies during his bogey-free round at Canyon Meadows Golf and Country Club.
He moved into the clubhouse lead at 12-under-par 201 after breaking the course record by one shot.
Rocco Mediate set the old mark of 63 on Friday and it was equalled by Mike Gooden on Saturday.
Mediate started the day at 15-under-par 127, the lowest 36-hole total of any Champions Tour event this year.
