POLICE SEARCHING FOR VEHICLE RESPONSIBLE FOR HIT AND RUN

KAMLOOPS – The RCMP is appealing to the public for help finding whoever is responsible for hitting an 18-year-old pedestrian yesterday in North Kamloops.

Police are investigating the hit and run that happened around 5:30 p.m. yesterday. The woman was struck crossing Tranquille Road at Desmond Street while heading towards the 7-Eleven convenience store.

She was treated at Royal Inland Hospital with minor injuries, and now police are searching for a red, four-door, mid-sized Nissan car with a dent on the driver side near the rear tire and thereby the driver responsible for this accident.
