Water main break means no water for Okanagan Falls

OKANAGAN FALLS – People living in the lower district of Okanagan Falls are doing without water Friday thanks to a major water main break.

Crews are working to repair the break at 10 Avenue and Maple Street, according to a recorded message at the Okanagan Falls Irrigation District office.

Once the pipe is fixed and the water is turned back on, Irrigation District customers who live in the lower zone will be on a boil water advisory until further notice.

In the meantime, residents can get drinking water from the well on Commercial Drive off Oliver Ranch Road.
