Saturday’s win at York University improved their exhibition record to 3-1-1 over the last two months as their investors determine the viability of pro rugby in Canada with an eye to joining the fledgling seven-team Major League Rugby circuit south of the border.
Kolby Francis and Andrew Wilson each had two tries while Jon West added a single before a crowd of 1,604. Will Kelly kicked seven conversions and a penalty.
The home opener was originally scheduled for April 14 but was called off due to an ice storm.
