
Kelowna RCMP investigating after body found in local orchard
KELOWNA – RCMP are treating a death as suspicious after a body was found in a Kelowna orchard earlier today.
Kelowna RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey says in a press release police have not yet confirmed gender or age of the body found in the 2100 block of Cooper Rd. after police were called around 11 a.m. today, Oct. 11.
O’Donaghey says police have secured the scene and are waiting for the B.C. Coroners Service to arrive.
