VIDEO: Watch the Cariboo’s wildfire season from beginning to end

CARIBOO – Thousands of evacuees from the Cariboo district fled to Kamloops this summer when wildfires threatened their homes.

Now the Cariboo Regional District's emergency operations centre has put together an infographic showing just how quickly the wildfires developed.

In a Facebook post, the operations centre says it made a video showing the progression of evacuation alerts, orders and wildfire perimeters in the Cariboo for July, August and September of this year.

The district's emergency operations centre opened on July 6 and closed on Sept. 20.
