TORONTO – Some of the most active companies traded Monday on the Toronto Stock Exchange and the TSX Venture Exchange:

Toronto Stock Exchange (12,816.88 up 93.48 points):

Canadian Oil Sands Ltd. (TSX:COS). Oil sands. Unchanged at $19.98 on 23.02 million shares.

Bombardier Inc. (TSX:BBD.B). Plane and train maker. Down three cents, or 0.60 per cent, at $4.96 on 11.97 million shares. The company’s new CSeries airliner finally completed its maiden flight, after several delays over nearly nine months.

Marengo Mining Ltd. (TSX:MRN). Miner. Unchanged at 2.5 cents on 10.92 million shares.

Anderson Energy Ltd. (TSX:AXL). Oil and gas. Up 4.5 cents, or 34.62 per cents, at 17.5 cents on 5.63 million shares. The Calgary-based company will sell properties that produced about 34 per cent of the company’s oil and gas output in the second quarter in a deal worth $82 million.

Torex Gold Resources Inc. (TSX:TXG). Up a penny, or 0.67 per cent, at $1.50 on 5.56 million shares. The Toronto-based company said it has an inferred estimate of 5.84 million gold equivalent ounces at its Media Luna Project in Mexico.

Toronto Venture Exchange (939.54 down 1.96 points):

TriOil Resources Ltd. (TSXV:TOL). Junior oil and gas. Down 25 cents, or 8.17 per cent, at $2.81 on 12.83 million shares. Europe-based ORLEN Upstream International will acquire the Calgary-based company for $183.7 million cash.

The Westaim Corp. (TSXV:WED). Insurance. Unchanged at four cents on 8.19 million shares.

Toronto Dominion Bank (TSX:TD). Bank. Up 87 cents, or 0.97 per cent, at $90.79 on 1.29 million shares. TD Bank, CIBC (TSX:CM) and rewards company Aimia Inc. (TSX:AIM) reached a compromise deal covering the Aeroplan loyalty credit cards that handle billions of dollars worth of transactions annually. CIBC`s shares rose 61 cents, or 0.75 per cent, to $81.74 on 1.30 million shares, while Aimia`s shares rose 1.22 cents, or 7.34 per cent, to $17.85 on 1.85 million shares.

Wi-LAN Inc. (TSX:WIN). Intellectual property. Up 23 cents, or 6.78 per cent, at $3.62 on 945,662 shares. The Ottawa-based company and Alcatel Lucent USA Inc. have agreed to settle their dispute over several patents and withdraw litigation before U.S. district courts in Florida and Texas.
