KELOWNA –  The weather was perfect for the annual BMO Okanagan Marathon on Sunday.

The race has become much more of an all around event for all ages over the last two decades, hence the addition of “Family Festival” to the title.

The big events were the marathon and the half marathon on Sunday, but the Friendship and Fun runs on Saturday were a big hit despite the rain.

The Okanagan Marathon attracts national attention because it’s a Boston Marathon Qualifier.
