UPDATE: Accident closed Highway 1

SALMON ARM – Highway 1, which was closed in both directions near Salmon Arm, has reopened.

There was a vehicle incident 5 km east of Salmon Arm which closed the highway for several hours, according to Drive B.C.

Due to the closure, Highway 97B and Highway 97A were used as an alternate route.

No injuries have been reported by Drive B.C. or the RCMP at this time.
