Looking for a forever home; South Okanagan/Similkameen SPCA pet of the week

PENTICTON –  Elvira has had a short but difficult life and is looking for a loving home.

Elvira is described as a "black beauty" by the staff at the South Okanagan/Similkameen Shelter.

When Elvira was found, she was left behind in a cold rental house with multiple litters of kittens. The shelter doesn't know more of her tragic history, however, despite her hardships, she is a great cat.

Elvira is full of love and her only desire is to have a warm home with plenty of time to cuddle.

"Elvira is patiently waiting for a home to call her own now that she is done raising kittens," according to her pet profile.

The SPCA is encouraging people to come in and meet this "stunning" and "sleek" girl.

If you think you'd like to add Elvira, animal ID 445913, to your home or if you are interested in meeting her, please contact or stop by the South Okanagan/Similkameen Shelter. You can submit an adoption application by email to penticton@spca.bc.ca or in person. More information about the Elvira and the shelter can be found online.
