Remembrance Day hours of operation at civic properties

To mark Remembrance Day, which falls on a Saturday this year, City Hall will be closed for the statutory holiday on Monday, Nov. 13.

The Glenmore Landfill will be open its regular hours of 7:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

Parkinson Recreation Centre will be open Saturday, Nov. 11 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and on Monday, Nov. 13 from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.

The Kelowna Memorial Cemetery grounds will be open daily from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. but the administration office will be closed on both Nov. 11 and 13.

The Royal Canadian Legion will hold their annual Remembrance Day parade in downtown Kelowna and the Army, Navy and Air Force veterans will hold their parade in Rutland on Saturday, Nov. 11. During the parade times of 10 a.m. t0 12:30 p.m., some road closures will be in effect. For road closures details, visit kelowna.ca/roadreport.
