
Enderby man arrested for car theft
ENDERBY – A man was arrested Sunday for allegedly threatening another man and then taking his car.
A 49-year-old man from Enderby called police to say he was assaulted by a 39-year-old man. The two men knew each other.
Apparently the suspect pushed the complainant against a wall and threatened to beat him with a metal pipe before taking his keys and driving off in his vehicle.
The vehicle was found ouside the suspect's home on King Avenue in Enderby. Not long after the suspect was seen walking along the sidewalk outside the Enderby RCMP detachment where he was arrested for robbery and uttering threats.
Enderby RCMP continue to investigate. The suspect is in custody and expected in court today.
