Infonews.ca causes a storm in Kamloops

iNFOnews.ca is causing a storm in Kamloops tomorrow night.
    
The Kamloops Storm Junior Hockey team hit home ice with iNFOnews.ca when they face the Chase Heat tomorrow, Nov. 21 at 7 p.m. at Kamloops Memorial Arena.
  
INFOnews.ca will be on hand to add to the fun with fun giveaways at 6:30 p.m.
    
“Come on out and see some really great hockey and support your local team,” said Jake Cooke, account executive manager at iNFOnews.ca Kamloops.
   
Cooke will get fans into the spirit by handing out water bottles to the first 100, $10 adult ticket holders. As well, the first 200, $10 adult ticket holders will enjoy a free Molson brew in the arena, $5 Earls gift certificate and Dominoes and Booster Juice coupons.
    
“The giveaways end up having more value than the ticket cost,” commented Cooke. Purchased game programs are full of prizes as well. “It’s a great, inexpensive family night of fun.”
    
With only a few home games left, Storm owner Barry Dewar mentioned the club will be holding another doggy ice race Dec. 15. Pugs on Ice is a fundraiser for the Kamloops SPCA. The event with Dachshunds in October was a hit with fans and dog owners raising $4,100 for the SPCA. “We wanted to do it again,” said Dewar, who added that they are recruiting people and their pugs to contact him to participate in the Dec. 15 event.
    
The next home games are Dec. 1 against Revelstoke, Dec. 15 against Revelstoke and Dec. 16 against Sicamous. Puck drop is 7 p.m.
