Looking for a forever home; Vernon SPCA pet of the week

VERNON – The Vernon SPCA has chosen Doug to feature as their pet of the week.

Even though Doug is a little shy at first he is a really affectionate cat. In no time, he will be giving you head butts and rubbing up against your leg.

"He's a handsome and friendly guy who's been with us for 20 days now so it's time for him to find a home," Christine Bradshaw, an SPCA employee, told iNFOnews.ca in an email.

The Vernon shelter believes Doug's ideal home would be quieter because he can get scared of loud noises.

He is sociable and always greets the SPCA staff with a friendly meow in the morning.

If you would like more information about Doug, animal identification number 447824, or would like to come view him, contact the Vernon SPCA.
