UPDATE: Daniel James Munro has been found and is safe.
KAMLOOPS – Police are searching for Daniel James Munro, a 17-year-old youth from Kamloops who was last heard from Oct. 11.
Munro called his caregiver around 9:30 p.m. last Saturday to say he was on his way home but never showed up – his wearabouts are unknown.
Police members are requesting the public's assistance in locating Munro as there is a concern for his safety and well-being.
Munro is aboriginal, six feet and two inches tall and has black hair and brown eyes. He has scars on both forearms.
He is known to frequent the North Shore and downtown areas of Kamloops.
Anyone with information on Munro's whereabouts is asked to call Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000. To remain anonymous call Crimestoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
