Looking for a forever home; Kamloops SPCA pet of the week

KAMLOOPS – Meet Bella Starr, a young and playful cat waiting for adoption at the Kamloops and District SPCA.

If you are looking for an affectionate lady, Bella Starr might be the perfect cat for you.

The B.C. SPCA says Bella Starr arrive at the shelter with a litter of kittens, all of whom have been adopted out to loving families. Now Bella is waiting for her forever home.

She loves affection and attention, and the SPCA believes, with slow and proper introductions, Bella Starr could live in a multi-cat home.

Bella Starr needs to be an indoor-only cat because while at the shelter she became very ill and the vet believes it could have been the result of her vaccines. So, the vet does not recommend any more vaccines for Bella.

"We are also having a half-price adoption promotion for our adult cats, so the adoption fee is 50 per cent off," says the Kamloops and District B.C. SPCA Animal Care Attendant Lyndsay Stewart.

The promotion runs until Dec. 3.

If you think you'd like to add Bella Starr, animal ID 443723, to your home please contact the SPCA at 250-376-7722 or email kamloops@spca.bc.ca.
