PENTICTON – If your personal library is in need of an update, now’s your chance to fill the shelves with new books from the Penticton Library’s Dirty Book Sale.
The foyer at the library-museum building will be full of books ready for sale at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday morning. The books are not racy though. The term 'dirty' describes a collection of extra copies of bestsellers, and ones that are not circulating as often as they used to
There will be a variety of books set out including children’s books, fiction, non-fiction, large print, paperbacks, magazines, DVDs and audiobooks.
The average book is sold for one dollar, and all proceeds go towards funding the library.
