Two charged in alleged Kamloops assault and unlawful confinement

One of two people arrested in what police said was a "report involving weapons" has been released on bail.

Kamloops RCMP was called to a Tk'emlups home on Kootenay Way last week, then to a downtown motel, arresting a total of three people. It's not clear if third suspect is facing charges or if they were released at the scene.

Police didn't say what they were investigating, but two people are now facing multiple charges related to their arrests on April 17.
