A man was arrested by the Barriere RCMP and the Southeast District Emergency Response Team.
On April 23, at the suspect's residence on Creekside Road, a 58-year-old man who was the subject of multiple outstanding warrants for assault was arrested by the Barriere RCMP with help from the Emergency Response Team, according to an RCMP news release.
The Southeast District Emergency Response Team was called in to assist due to the individual posing a high risk, RCMP said. The arrest proceeded with no incident and no risk to the public.
The individual remains in custody as he awaits his court appearance scheduled April 24.
RCMP said no further information is available at the moment as the investigation remains active.
