Bombers stick Greg Peach into hole left by trade of CFL sack leader Alex Hall

WINNIPEG – Winnipeg defensive lineman Greg Peach has big shoes to fill.

He’ll be replacing Alex Hall in the lineup when the Blue Bombers visit Montreal on Saturday.

Winnipeg recently traded the CFL sack leader to the Saskatchewan Roughriders.

Peach says it was great to play with Hall but he’s excited for the opportunity.

Peach was acquired by the Blue Bombers after his mid-season release by the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

Winnipeg head coach Tim Burke knows it will be tough to replace Hall but says Peach is a hard worker who can get results.
