South Okanagan transit service boosted for December shopping
PENTICTON – More trips to the mall in Penticton are being added to the South Okanagan bus schedule just in time for Christmas shopping.
The Regional District of Okanagan Similkameen says more trips to Penticton will be added on Fridays in December.
Route 40 from Osoyoos to Penticton will have an additional morning trip added to the schedule on Dec. 1, Dec. 8, Dec. 15 and Dec. 22.
The bus will leave Osoyoos at 8:30 a.m. and follow its usual route through Oliver, Okanagan Falls and Kaleden before arriving at Cherry Lane Mall in Penticton at 9:45 a.m. An afternoon return trip will be available, leaving the mall at 1:30 p.m.
