Sylvie Lloyd skates at Canada Cup

December 4 2017, Kamloops – Kamloops Long Blade skater Sylvie Lloyd skated in the first Canada Cup of the season this past weekend in Québec City.

Canada Cup #1 is a national ranking competition for long track speed skating of which there are four over the course of the season. Skaters must have skated qualifying times in order to compete and Lloyd recorded personal best times in the 500 m, 1000 m and 1500 m events.

Next up for the Kamloops Long Blades is the Kelowna Cup on Dec. 9th, a qualifier for the BC Winter Games in Kamloops later this season.
