Kelowna Peewee hockey players are skating into Ottawa

KELOWNA – A Kelowna Peewee hockey team have won a spot in the Hockey on the Hill tournament in Ottawa.

The Kelowna Peewee Female Rec Devils are guaranteed one game in the tournament at the Canada 150 rink in Ottawa between Dec. 27 and Jan. 1, according to a media release.

The team, made up for Atom and Peewee aged girls, plays in the OMAHA Peewee female rec league.

There will be teams from every province, territory and region at the tournament.

The video was part of the team's submission for the contest.
