Okanagan Rail Trail Status

The Okanagan Rail Trail is not officially open at this time as development continues throughout the corridor. Active construction remains underway in the City of Kelowna and Lake Country portions and users are asked to respect those continued closures. Due to ongoing works, the public is reminded that the northernmost portion of the trail remains use at your own risk. For the safety of all users and to facilitate the timely completion of all outstanding construction activities, the RDNO asks users to adhere to posted signage and notices of closure along the trail until officially open.

The RDNO along with its partners in the Okanagan Rail Trail look forward to a completion of all construction works and an official opening in 2018.

The RDNO thanks the public for their patience.
