PENTICTON – The Penticton Vees Jr. ‘A’ Hockey Club has traded forward Max Becker (95) to the Salmon Arm Silverbacks for future considerations, the team announced Wednesday.
Becker played in three of the Vees first five games this season and did not record a point. The Orange, California native came to the Vees after spending the past two years in the Shattuck-St. Mary’s prep hockey program in Minnesota. Last season with the Prep team, Becker put up 14 goals and 55 points in 50 games. Becker, bound for Princeton University next fall, compiled 48 goals and 125 points in 107 games over the past two seasons with the Shattuck-St. Mary’s program.
The trade leaves the Vees with five imports and 21 players on their roster; one below the league maximum. The organization would like to thank Max for his time with the Vees and wishes him all the best in his future hockey endeavors with the Silverbacks.
