UPDATE: Kamloops teen located

RCMP say 15-year-old Kyla Spijksma has been located and is safe.

KAMLOOPS – Police are asking for help locating a teen last seen by her family Monday evening.

Kamloops RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Cheryl Bush says Kyla Spijksma, 15, was last seen by her family May 11. The Caucasian girl is described as 5’2” and 120 lbs, with shoulder length brown hair with blond streaks. She sometimes wears glasses.

Police say they are concerned for her well-being and are asking anyone with information on her whereabouts to call their local RCMP detachment, 250-828-3000 in Kamloops, or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
