WEST KELOWNA – Police are asking for the public's help locating a man suspected of breaking and entering a West Kelowna home then producing a knife when he was interrupted. 

Police say warrants have been issued for Dale Christopher MacPherson, 32, of Peachland, but caution you should not approach him. If you have information, contact police.

In a press release, RCMP spokesperson Cpl. Jesse O'Donaghey said MacPherson faces numerous charges stemming from the confrontation in the Glenrosa neighbourhood. He said police have "positively-identified" MacPherson for the Dec. 4 incident. Police say he entered a home in the 3400 block of Turnbull Road around 2:50 p.m. He did not physically attack the man, O'Donaghey said. 

Police have warrants for robbery, break and enter, assault with a weapon, pointing a firearm to commit an indictable offence. 

“Dale MacPherson is believed to be operating a white 2006 Mazda 3 hatchback with a dark grey coloured hood,” states Cpl. Jesse O’Donaghey. “If spotted, the public is cautioned not to approach him and urged to contact their local police immediately, as MacPherson has a history of violence and should be considered as potentially armed and dangerous.”
