CELISTA – An 87-year-old man may be feeling lucky today considering what an accident he was involved in did to his car.
On Sept. 25, at about 4:30 p.m. the man was driving his white Lincoln east along Squilax-Anglemont Road when he lost control and went into the ditch. He took out a B.C. Hydro line during his descent, knocking out power for a few hours to parts of the North Shuswap while repairs were made.
There man was not injured in the single vehicle, single occupant accident. Alcohol was not a factor.
