CFL fines Calgary Stampeders receiver for criticism of officiating

TORONTO – The CFL fined Calgary Stampeders receiver Nik Lewis on Wednesday for using social media to criticize league officials.

Lewis was fined an undisclosed amount for tweeting critical comments about the officiating during Calgary’s 27-13 win over the Edmonton Eskimos on Friday night.

Lewis is currently out with a leg injury and didn’t dress for the contest.
