Bombers don’t know if QB Hall will be able to play final game Nov. 2

WINNIPEG – Winnipeg Blue Bombers quarterback Max Hall sustained a hip-pointer in Thursday night’s 36-21 loss to the Toronto Argonauts.

Coach Tim Burke says he doesn’t yet know if Hall will be able to play the last game of the season Nov. 2.

It was a bruising, penalty-filled contest for both teams and the Bombers kept it closer than the final score suggests.

Veteran offensive lineman Glenn January says the players take no comfort in coming close.

But he says they still aren’t ready to sit back and stop doing all they can to win.

Their 3-14 season is currently tied for the team’s worst ever in the modern CFL, but a win against Hamilton in the last game would change that.
