Clic Strawberry Flavoured Marshmallow recalled due to undeclared milk

OTTAWA – People with milk allergies are being warned to stay away from certain Clic brand Strawberry Flavoured Marshmallow.

The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says the product may contain milk that isn’t declared on the label.

The affected product was sold across Canada in 250 gram packages with a best before date of Jan. 17, 2014 (upc code 0 58504 63981 3).

There has been one reported illness linked to the product, which could pose a serious or even life-threatening risk to people allergic to milk.

The produce has been recalled and the CFIA is monitoring the recall.
