UPDATE: Vernon RCMP say woman reported missing is safe and sound

VERNON – Police have located a Vernon woman reported missing earlier today.

The 19-year-old, who had last been seen on Christmas Day at 11 a.m. at Vernon Jubilee Hospital, has been found safe and sound, according to an update from the Vernon RCMP.

Police were concerned for the woman's health and well-being and asked anyone with information to contact their nearest police detachment.

The Vernon RCMP thank the public for their assistance.
