Westport Innovations reports third-quarter revenue up 50 per cent from year ago

VANCOUVER – Natural gas engine technology firm Westport Innovations Inc. (TSX:WPT), which keeps its books in U.S. dollars, said Wednesday it lost US$30.2 million or 53 cents per share for the quarter ended Sept. 30 compared with a loss of $32.5 million or 59 cents per share a year ago. Revenue totalled $46.5 million, up from $30.7 million.
